Hello friends, sorry for not posting in this blog regularly. Today I'm going to post a new trick about windows 8. Windows 8 has a new feature called as Password Reveal. Using this function, a user would not have to remove the complete security password and begin all over again if he considers that he has created an mistake. Luckily, this feature can be disabled by a Windows Administrator for every Windows user account on a computer.
2) In Group Policy Editor navigate to Local Computer Policy > User configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Credential User Interface.
3)Enable the configuration which says “Do Not display the password reveal button”.
After that this function will disable permanently. This does not make your security password drop into wrong hand but only a function which is fairly much protected and only performs provided that you are on the security password area.
How to disable Password Reveal Button :
1) First Open Windows Run box, type in gpedit.msc and press enter to open Windows 8 Group Policy Editor or type in Group Policy Editor on Windows 8 Start Screen.2) In Group Policy Editor navigate to Local Computer Policy > User configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Credential User Interface.
3)Enable the configuration which says “Do Not display the password reveal button”.
After that this function will disable permanently. This does not make your security password drop into wrong hand but only a function which is fairly much protected and only performs provided that you are on the security password area.
