Hide Hard Drive Using Command Prompt

This is a simple command trick to hide your hard drive. May be you know this, if not then this is so interesting. This trick works all versions of windows like windows 98, XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. Just Follow these simple steps.
1) In Start menu go to Run and type CMD (This will open Command Prompt Window).
2) In this window type DISKPART and press Enter (This will start your Diskpart window).
3) Now Type LIST VOLUME (This will display the list of all your volumes).
4) To hide a drive just type SELECT VOLUME 2 (Any drive you want to select).
5) Then type REMOVE LETTER H (You should type the volume name instead of H).
6) The drive will now get hidden.
7) To Unhide the Drive follows the steps 1-5 as mentioned above.
8) Then type ASSIGN LETTER H (You should type the volume name instead of H).
9) Now your hidden drive will be visible.

Above process will not work for your system drive, where your O/S is installed (Mostly it is C Drive). In many computer it needs restart to function properly.
