Enable Delete Confirmation Dialog In Windows 8


Everyone knows about Windows 8, the newly released O/S of Microsoft. Windows 8 comes standard automatic deletion of files, Microsoft disabled the delete confirmation dialog in it. How to re-enable it to reduce accidental file Deletion?

Enabling the Delete Confirmation Dialog Feature:


1) First Right click on the Recycle Bin icon from the Desktop, and select Properties.

2) In Recycle Bin Properties dialog, enable "Display delete confirmation dialog" option and click OK to apply the change.

3) If you now go try and delete something you will immediately be asked "Are you really want to move this item(s) to the recycle bin".

Now you are done! In this way you should be able to reactivate the Delete Confirmation dialog. This procedure is also works in windows 7 to disable this feature.
